Traveling can be a chaotic experience when you travel alone but all twelve of us have checked our bags and found our gate with no hiccups thus far!
On the bus ride over, Mark Taylor noted that there are twelve of us and Jesus had twelve disciples that He sent out on mission. We are so excited that the day is finally here! Some of us have been to Kigungu a few times before, some of us have been to the continent of Africa before, and some of us have not ever flown before. In all cases, each one of us is ready for what God has planned for these next two weeks. We are going out on mission expecting Him to do big things!
This group is the largest group that has gone to Uganda from HDCC. It’s interesting to hear that Kigungu has churches from the Netherlands (a very secular place) pouring out their love and compassion on their village and their Compassion children. It’s through these partnerships that God’s work can be done here on Earth for His glory. It’s a Kingdom partnership!
We are just now beginning this journey but we can’t wait to see what God has in store! Please pray for our travels and our luggage-that all 26 bags will make it to Africa with us!
